Job Description

  • Compile payroll data from time sheets and other records.
  • Handling salary-related issues/grievances.
  • Keep informed about changes in tax and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process.
  • Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, and other provisions.
  • Complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as provident fund, gratuity, ESIC and any other applicable benefit.
  • Compile statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts, and submit them to appropriate departments. (Statutory compliances).
  • Coordination of payment of PF & ESl, Professional Tax.
  • Processing & preparing the statutory forms.
  • mission of ESI and PF forms Declarations/returns (Like form 1,2, S&1ZA& 6A etc.).
  • Coordination with employees of TDS.
  • Calculation of TA and DA of employees on a monthly basis.
  • Keeping a day-to-day check of all the matters related to attendance, leaves and absenteeism.
  • Maintain accumulated leave records for all employees, including annual and sick leave used or accrued and process adjustments and corrections; maintain pro-per payroll records as prescribed by law; provide various documents as custodian of the records when asked by the legal authorities.
  • Perform a variety of general clerical duties including typing, computer input and maintaining files and records.
  • Request needed materials and supplies, including specialized forms and manuals.
  • Maintain files and MIS on payroll documents.
  • Perform any Ad Hoc activities as and when required.
